Penguin Solutions (SMART Modular) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Manager to lead strategy, execution, and performance management of global contract manufacturing partners. The role drives reliable, cost-effective, high-quality production and scales new manufacturing sites.

The candidate will interface with cross-functional teams, optimize supplier performance, and deliver sustainable growth with strong leadership and manufacturing analytics.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required as baseline qualification.
• MS or PhD in Engineering disciplines is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and statistical understanding are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple outsourced LED contract manufacturing partners and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional teams to align demand, production, and supplier performance.
• Oversee site transfers, qualifications, and performance targets with KPI-based reviews.
• Develop and execute process and product improvements to optimize cost and quality.
• Coordinate with planning and procurement to balance capacity and demand.
• Own supplier quality and customer satisfaction outcomes and drive data-based decisions.
