Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Commodity Management Specialist in Penang, Malaysia. The role oversees strategic commodity groups, drives price and supplier negotiations, and develops procurement strategies to ensure continuous supply and cost efficiency.

You will interface with suppliers and lead negotiation efforts at the corporate level. Ideal candidates have six to eight years of relevant experience and hold a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains global or regional responsibility for a strategic commodity or group of commodities, for price/value determination and supplier negotiations.
• Develops and implements a procurement strategy for the commodities they manage including supplier analysis and pricing strategy.
• Acts as primary interface with Celestica's suppliers for relationship management and contract negotiation.
• Sources all products and services, maintaining a continuity of supply while delivering lowest cost solutions.
• Leads the Commodity Council Corporate negotiation teams and oversees the Customer Material Commitment process.
