Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Global Buyer based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for supporting Procurement Managers to operationalize their strategy through procurement processes within the Ingredients category.
Reporting directly to the Global Category Leader, your primary responsibility will be to support the implementation of the category strategy on a regional & global level - focusing on the efficient use of strategic sourcing tools and processes in order to maximize compliance and efficiency.

A day in a life of a Global Buyer – Ingredients
Supporting effective contract management for the category
Preparing for and supporting negotiation events as approved by the category Procurement Managers.
Contributing to the global sourcing strategy by implementing the communication and supplier management plan.
Ensuring compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
Identifying opportunities for cost and efficiency optimization, and leading global initiatives to enhance value creation.
What will make you successful
University degree in Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, Engineering, etc
A minimum of 2 years’ experience within Procurement, ideally within ingredients or similar direct materials.
High learning speed and the ability to navigate in ambiguity in a dynamic, multi-national organization.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
Intermediate to advanced Excel is critical
Experience in food technology or chemical engineering, and sustainability projects will be advantageous
