Job summary

Vinry Digital is seeking an experienced Manager in external audit with Malaysia/Singapore experience to lead outsourced professional assignments, oversee audit deliverables, and coordinate cross-border teams.

You will mentor staff, drive process improvements, stay current on ISAs and local regulations (MFRS/SFRS/IFRS), report to Engagement Partner and Malaysian Director, and contribute to practice development in a hybrid work setting based in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as MIA, ACCA, CPA Australia, ICAEW, etc. (both fully qualified and semi‑qualified welcomed to apply)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional financial audit experience
• Competent command of professional English language skills
• Demonstrate competent application of ISAs, MFRS / SFRS / IFRS and knowledge of Companies Act provisions
• Willingness to learn rules and practices of foreign jurisdictions
• Experience in managing a portfolio of professional assignments and leading a team
• Experience in assignment planning, budgeted hours oversight and staffing
• Ability to work with senior licensed professionals and international clients
• High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness

Responsibilities

• Lead the managerial aspects of outsourced assignments from the international firm’s team
• Monitor service delivery to ensure strong deliverables
• Cultivate and maintain good team relationships with outsourcing clients
• Stay informed on ISAs, MFRS/SFRS/IFRS and regulatory provisions
• Mentor, train and develop team members
• Lead practice development initiatives including culture building and process improvement
• Report to Engagement Partner and Malaysian Director on engagement matters
