Job summary

Razer is seeking a capable accounting professional to support the financial close, ensure accurate recording of transactions, and assist in reporting and analysis. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain data integrity across multiple entities in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting with potential professional qualifications; SAP FI/CO experience is highly preferred and fresh grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA, or equivalent) would be advantageous.
• Prior experience in accounting, financial reporting, or R2R functions is preferred; fresh grads may apply.

Responsibilities

• Support financial close activities and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and financial analysis.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of accounting records and financial data.
• Support statutory reporting requirements, including the preparation of financial statements, audit schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and coordinate with auditors as required.
• Support tax compliance activities, including GST/VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax matters where applicable.
• Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance activities, including submissions to central banks and other regulatory authorities where applicable.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support reporting, audit, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting and statutory records.
• Support process improvement, automation, and system enhancement initiatives.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by management.
