Job summary

Razer in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified accounting professional to support our global finance operations. You will manage the close process, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist in statutory reporting and audits.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, SAP FI/CO experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset. ACCA/CPA advantageous; fresh grads encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA, or equivalent) would be advantageous.
• Fresh grads are encouraged to apply; exposure to R2R is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support financial close activities and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and financial analysis.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of accounting records and financial data.
• Support statutory reporting requirements, including financial statements, audits, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with tax compliance activities and regulatory reporting as applicable.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support reporting, audit, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Support process improvement, automation, and system enhancement initiatives.
