Job summary

Sunway Group's Finance SSC is seeking anExecutive - Accounts (General Ledger) on a 1-year contract. The role involves maintaining the chart of accounts, preparing journal entries and cash book records, and ensuring timely month-end closing.

Responsibilities include consolidating financial statements, coordinating management reports, and liaising with external auditors. Requires a Bachelor’s in Accountancy or equivalent with 1–2 years of accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to work independently.
• Willing to work in Bandar Sunway and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in chart of accounts proposal and data maintenance; supervise action steps.
• Prepare journal entries and cash book transactions.
• Ensure reconciliation of inter-company transactions and month-end closing.
• Prepare financial statements including consolidated accounts and notes for management and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate ad-hoc management reports and analysis; liaise with auditors as required.
