PPG in Malaysia seeks a GL Accounting Specialist to ensure accurate general ledger entries across local books, handle accruals and reversals, and support month-end closing processes in line with US and local GAAP.

You will work with Oracle/SAP ERP, prepare books, and collaborate with the Assistant Manager – General Ledger Accounting. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin is required to communicate across teams.

Formación

• Diploma in Accounting with at least 2 years of GL accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• ERP experience with Oracle/SAP would be an added advantage.
• Experience with MNC or public listed company.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (verbal and written).

Responsabilidades

• Manage analysis of accounts according to business requirements.
• Handle month end closing journals.
• Increase efficiency and streamline finance process flow.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies and statutory requirements.
• Account reconciliations in line with corporate guidelines.
• Preparation of books in US and local GAAP.
• Other ad-hoc requests as vital.
