Job summary

Ingenious Job in Malaysia is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage actuals monthly closing using Oracle and HFM, ensuring accurate journal postings and compliant reporting. The role coordinates with Manila GFS (shared service) for closing periods and liaises with KPMG for statutory audits, while assisting in internal and tax reporting.

A degree in Finance and 5+ years in GL, tax and treasury are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, GL, Taxation, MFRS, and Treasury functions.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems; analytical, detail-oriented.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion HFM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Actuals monthly closing (Oracle & HFM).
• Post journal entries into Oracle and ensure correct accounting codes.
• Coordinate closing period for Oracle modules with Manila GFS (shared service).
• Liaise with External Auditor (KPMG) and coordinate statutory audits.
• Assist in internal, tax, quarterly and yearly reporting to APHQ.
• Handle Corporate Tax Computation and Tax Stream submissions monthly/quarterly.
• Liaise with Tax agent on yearly corporate tax filing and related matters.
• Oversee Balance Sheet items with Manila GFS and manage assets controls.

Requirement:

• Degree in Finance or partial professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, General Ledger (GL), Taxation, MFRS, and Treasury functions.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
• Possess strong initiative, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Actuals monthly closing (Oracle & HFM) and assist with required financial reporting during month end closing including coordination of closing period for Oracle modules with Manila GFS (shared service team).
• Review and post Journal entries into Oracle system before month end closing and ensure the accuracy of accounting code with approval obtained.a) Journal for reclassification, mass allocation, etc.b) Managing Journal function and overseeing journal entries
• Liaise with the External Auditor (KPMG) and Coordinate the Annual Local Statutory Audit
• Assist in Internal audit and Tax audit
• Assist in financial reporting during month end closing
• Assist in Quarterly reporting and Yearly reporting to APHQ
• Handle Corporate Tax Computation on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and submit Tax Stream OTP on Corporate Tax Computation on a quarterly basis.
• Liaise/Work with the Tax agent on the yearly Corporate Tax filing and handle any other related tax matters
• Managing and overseeing Balance Sheet items together with the Manila GFS Team (shared service team).
• Managing the assets management function and overseeing the assets control function.
• Coordinate Bank Guarantee applications, renewals, and related matters with banks and business units.
• Review and monitor all tenancy agreement and maintenance agreement to ensure renewal before expiration.
