- · Managing monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing process, including management accounts,
- balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- . Ensures accurate financial records, consolidated account and statutory reporing are done on timely and
- accurate basis.
- . Manage e-invoices, verifying validity and ensuring compliance with LHDN guidelines and regulations
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
- · Prepare the annual budget preparation and periodic forecasting exercises.
- · Work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to align financial plans with production output and cost structure.
3.Cash Flow, Working Capital & Performance
- · Manage and monitor cash flow, bank balances, borrowings and banking facilities across the Group, including cash flow forecasting and funding requirements.
- · Monitor receivables, payables and inventory levels, including ageing positions, and work with the respective business units to improve collections, manage payment commitments and optimise working capital.
4. Taxation & Compliance
- · Ensure timely submission of imported services tax, withholding tax and other statutory reports.
- · Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies (e.g., LHDN, SSM, MIDA).
- · Support in managing transfer pricing documentation.
5. Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- · Support implementation and monitoring of internal controls within finance and related departments.
- · Participate in stock counts and audits.
- · Ensure timely preparation of information and supporting schedules required for statutory audit, tax compliance and other financial reporting requirements.
- · Follow up on audit findings and finance-related control issues to ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- · Perform any other finance-related duties, projects and ad hoc assignments as may be required by Management from time to time.
6. Team Support & Supervision
- · Guide and supervise finance staff in daily operations.
- · Provide training and coaching on accounting procedures, compliance, and system usage.
7. Other duties
- . Any other ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
- . Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve departmental objectives.
- . Communicate and coordinate with the Parent Company in Japan in English.

Skills required:
- a. Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), SST, and local tax laws.
- b. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, or similar).
- c. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- d. Analytical, detail-oriented, and good communication skills.
- e. Strong negotiation skills and decision making are essential.
