Job summary

Solstruct Engineers Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks motivated Geotechnical/Structural Engineers to join our expanding team. You will work on diverse engineering projects, contributing to design, analysis, site inspection and project coordination.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with geotechnical/structural design experience. Senior roles may be considered for those with 8+ years. Travel and short-term site assignments are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in geotechnical and/or structural engineering design.
• 8+ years of design experience; Senior Engineer level.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Willing to travel outside the Klang Valley.
• Willing to be based at project sites for short-term assignments.
• Able to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible working hours to support work-life balance.
• Exposure to professional engineering design and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Undertake geotechnical and/or structural analysis, calculations and design.
• Prepare design sketches, engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings and design requirements.
• Liaise with clients, sub-consultants, approving authorities and other stakeholders to obtain design information and present design alternatives.
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination and review of project deliverables.
• Perform quality control and technical reviews of design calculations and drawings.
• Assist the project team in resolving technical and construction-related issues as required.
