Job summary

JP Caliber Sdn. Bhd., a Hong Kong-based tech group expanding in Malaysia, seeks an AI Engineer to explore R&D projects, build AI-powered solutions, and collaborate with customers on Generative AI applications and intelligent automation.

The role emphasizes LLMs, NLP, and pre-sales support with strong English and collaboration with the HK team. On-site in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia, on a 12-month renewable contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/AI/ML/Data Science or related field.
• 2–5 years in AI engineering, ML/NLP, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience in deploying AI/ML in real-world environments.
• Proficient in Python and major ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, FAISS).

Responsibilities

• Research and develop innovative AI solutions using emerging tech.
• Build Generative AI apps involving LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and conversational systems.
• Design and optimize AI pipelines for information retrieval and intelligent automation.
• Develop AI-powered solutions understanding user intent and automating tasks via AI agents.
• Implement NLP/NLU/NLG capabilities including text generation and entity recognition.
• Collaborate with software, product, and business teams to translate AI into scalable solutions.
• Support pre-sales with demonstrations and technical proposals; stay updated on AI trends.
