Job summary

Oxydata Software seeks an experienced Applied Generative AI Engineer to drive AI tool adoption across engineering, testing, and business teams. You will deploy, integrate, and govern AI tools in our financial domain, working with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.

You will own end-to-end AI integrations, translate business needs into agentic workflows, and develop ETL pipelines to structure data for AI agents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, AsyncIO, Pydantic) or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience integrating tools into Dynatrace, GitHub, Jira and/or Confluence via APIs and webhooks.
• Hands-on experience building agentic or LLM-powered workflows using frontier model APIs and agent frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Docker, REST API design, CI/CD and basic cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Familiarity with vector databases and RAG basics.
• Understanding IT governance, access control and audit requirements in a regulated environment.
• Ability to turn vague stakeholder requests into working automation.
• Bias toward shipping and iterative improvements over perfect architecture.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, and maintain AI tools and LLMs within bank platforms.
• Automate test case generation and scripts with AI.
• Roll out AI-driven solutions to boost developer productivity.
• Work with business users on AI-enabled requirements and business cases.
• Own end-to-end development, deployment, and production support for AI integrations.
• Create internal playbooks, training materials, and support processes.
• Establish governance guardrails for AI tool usage and data handling.
