Qualifications

• Experience as General Worker or similar role is preferred.
• Valid driving license and clean driving record preferred.
• Willingness to perform installation tasks and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Department in installation work according to departmental requirements.
• Deliver products, equipment and tools to and from project sites in a safe and timely manner, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at project sites, according to technical specifications and safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-travel inspections of lorries to ensure they are in good condition and report any issues to the Department Head.
• Load and unload goods to or from lorries in a safe and secure manner, complying with industry regulations.
• Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods, taking into account traffic flow, weather conditions and other factors.
• Communicate with project managers, technicians and other team members to coordinate transport and installation schedules and report any issues or delays.

Job description

A General Worker is an individual who performs tasks as a General Worker and Lorry Driver. This combined role is required in situations where the company needs a technician for installation work at the company and also to transport equipment or materials to project sites.

Key responsibilities

Assist the Operations Department in installation work according to departmental requirements

Deliver products, equipment and tools to and from project sites in a safe and timely manner, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies

Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at project sites, according to technical specifications and safety protocols

Conduct pre-travel inspections of lorries to ensure they are in good condition and report any issues to the Department Head

Responsible for delivering company vehicles to workshops for repairs if damage occurs and responsible for conducting Puspakom inspections

Load and unload goods to or from lorries in a safe and secure manner, complying with industry regulations

Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods, taking into account traffic flow, weather conditions and other factors

Communicate with project managers, technicians and other team members to coordinate transport and installation schedules and report any issues or delays

Maintain professional standards of conduct and customer service when interacting with customers and the public

Continuously develop skills and knowledge through training and education opportunities in both technical and lorry driving fields
