Job summary

Kps Hcm in Malaysia is seeking a reliable delivery and site support staff to inspect vehicles, load and unload goods, and ensure safe transportation. You will manage routes, monitor road and weather conditions, and coordinate with supervisors to meet client requirements.

This role involves operating lorries and forklifts, maintaining equipment, and supporting construction logistics on road projects. You will work on site, follow safety protocols, and report any issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle before departure to deliver goods or going to site
• Assist in loading goods onto the lorry and placing them in proper locations
• Stack boxes in an upright manner to ensure safety during transport
• Map best possible routes prior to setting out
• Ensure fuel is enough before setting out on a route or fill up lorry at the nearest fuel station before the journey
• Maintain knowledge of local and interstate routes
• Monitor road, traffic and weather conditions and take alternate routes where required
• Deliver goods to their destinations and take customers acknowledgement signatures on delivery order form or receipts
• Unload good as per client specification
• Inform origin of delivery status and any additional information such as customer complaints
• Perform preventative and regular maintenance on lorries and ensure that vehicle fluids are sufficient
• Report any vehicle and machinery mechanical problems to superior or person in charge of vehicle / machinery maintenance within the company
• Clean and polish lorries and ensure that everything is in good working order
• Store lorry cleaning and maintenance equipment and tools in a safe place
• Perform labour intensive activity and task in the manufacturing and production of cold-mix
• Load, unload and move raw materials in work areas
• Mix, transfer and store materials such as bitumen binder and aggregate
• Operate forklift and machineries
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Clean up work sites
• Operate and shift equipment and materials
• Assist receiving and unloading of equipment, products and machineries from suppliers/transporters
• Handle and store delivered raw materials
• Remove debris and trash at factory work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all time
• Task at Project site (Installation of road products or repair of road pavements)
• Load and unload machinery and materials
• Setup traffic management at sites and carry out other traffic management activities
• Cleans and prepares construction sites or work sites
• Operates or handle machinery or equipment used in project, such as asphalt heater, boiler, and sprayer
• Work on hacking and cutting of pavements
• Work on loose asphalt using rakes and shovels
• Remove debris and waste from project sites
• Move product, tools and materials in work areas
• Perform other related duties as required
