Job summary

ASPES SDN BHD, based in Alor Setar, Kedah, is seeking a hands-on assistant to support the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems. You will work closely with technicians to prepare sites and manage materials.

Responsibilities include carrying and arranging pipes, fittings and tools, assisting with measurements, cutting, threading and assembly under supervision, and keeping work areas clean and safe.

• Assist with the installation of fire protection systems, including sprinkler pipes, hose reels, hydrants and related equipment.
• Carry, load, unload and arrange pipes, fittings, tools and materials at the work site.
• Assist technicians and supervisors with measuring, cutting, threading and assembling pipes under supervision.
• Prepare work areas and support installation, testing, maintenance and repair work.
• Keep tools, materials and work areas clean, organised and secure.
• Follow site safety rules, use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and report hazards or damaged equipment.
• Carry out other site duties as instructed by the supervisor.
