Job summary

BJAK Sdn Bhd is seeking a General Manager to build and lead a business from end to end in Malaysia. You will own the P&L, product, team and execution, identifying opportunities, deciding what to build, hiring the team and driving growth and profitability.

This hands-on operating role requires strong commercial judgment, cross-functional leadership and the ability to move between strategy and detailed execution to deliver results and scale the business in fintech and consumer tech domains.

Qualifications

• Strong track record building, launching or scaling a product, business or business unit.
• Experience owning P&L, revenue, growth or other measurable business outcomes.
• Strong product and commercial judgement.
• Ability to work across product, engineering, operations and commercial functions.
• Experience building and leading strong teams.
• Hands-on approach - comfortable moving between strategy and detailed execution.
• Strong ownership, speed and ability to operate with limited structure.
• Experience in fintech, consumer technology or AI is an advantage.
