Job summary

Tambadana is seeking a General Manager to lead Jombanding, a new financial literacy and product comparison platform in Malaysia. You will own strategy, P&L and revenue, shape the business, recruit a lean team and build strategic partnerships with banks and fintechs to drive growth and user engagement.

You will lead content, product development and a trusted consumer journey, ensuring compliance and transparent monetisation while scaling the audience and brand in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of leadership experience
• Proven experience managing end-to-end product/platform/digital business
• Strong commercial sense with budgets, business plans and P&L
• Strong track record in business development and partnerships
• Experience with banks, fintechs, lenders or financial providers is advantageous
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own the overall strategy, business plan and P&L of Jombanding.
• Develop and execute revenue and monetisation strategies.
• Set targets, KPIs, budgets and growth plans.
• Lead platform development including content, tools and product comparison features.
• Build strategic partnerships with banks, lenders, insurers, fintechs and other providers.
• Grow audience, engagement and brand in Malaysia.
• Oversee operations, governance and compliance with PDPA and local regulations.
