Job summary

AD ARTISAN MANUFACTURING SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Chief Operations/Head of Manufacturing to lead daily factory operations, drive growth and ensure quality and timely delivery. You will oversee production, quality control, warehousing and budgeting while implementing policies from senior management.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10–15 years in technical, operations or engineering roles, with at least 5 years at senior management level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive long-term growth.
• Manage daily factory operations, production, quality control, warehousing and timely delivery to ensure efficiency and high standards.
• Manage departmental or unit costs to ensure the company's strong financial position.
• Implement policies and strategies set by senior management.
• Prepare and manage budgets for all areas of the furniture factory.
• Lead, motivate and manage workforce to ensure productivity and commitment.
• Lead product research and innovation, market positioning, planning and marketing strategy for product range.
• Design sales strategy and coordinate sales team structure while maintaining relationships with business partners.
• Enforce Environment, Safety and Health (EHS) policies and establish safety protocols and risk assessments.
• Monitor departmental KPIs, set targets and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
