Overview

A global leader in advanced engineering solutions is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead its operations in Malaysia. This leadership role is pivotal to driving business development and operational excellence across Malaysia, with a strong emphasis on the semiconductor testing industry. The General Manager will be based in Penang and will oversee the development of the local office, lead strategic initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality technical and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of business development across Malaysia, ensuring annual performance targets are achieved.

  • Define and execute regional business development strategies, clarify team roles, and refine plans based on performance reviews.

  • Strengthen market penetration for probe card products by targeting key customers and building a strategically clustered client base.

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to support decision-making for senior leadership and internal stakeholders.

  • Lead the setup and growth of the Malaysia office team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

  • Establish a reliable after-sales and technical support system to meet customer needs and enhance service quality.

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and internal corporate governance standards.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business management within the semiconductor testing industry, with deep knowledge of the Malaysian market and customer landscape.

  • At least 5 years of proven leadership experience, with strong communication and interpersonal coordination skills.

  • Experience with semiconductor test interface products or related technologies is highly preferred.

  • Fluent in either Chinese or English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.

  • Highly proactive, self-driven, and capable of performing under pressure.
