Convatec is seeking an accounting professional to perform assigned accounting and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with SOPs and deadlines. You will respond to finance queries, support migration projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve group objectives.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting with at least 2 years of accounting experience, and familiarity with MS Office and SAP is advantageous. Mandarin is a plus; audit experience is also beneficial.
In this role, you'll play a key part in accounting, working alongside a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Perform assigned accounting and reporting activities in line with defined processes, standard operating procedures and work instructions, update process documentations as required
Respond to finance queries raised by employees, managers, finance partners & other internal and external stakeholders
Escalate issues and concerns to Country Accountant or RTR Manager
Support migration projects (work shadowing, work instructions creation)
Act as a team player, build good relationship with stakeholders
Support cross process and cross function cooperation required to achieve overall goals for GBS
Secure compliance according to internal procedures and legislation
Secure deadlines and assignments are executed according to SLA
Participate actively in the improvement initiatives and supports their implementation
To be successful you will:
Minimum 2 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Knowledge of Technology: MS Office, SAP is an advantage
Strong communication skills
Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including self-study/research needed to execute the same
Being able to work to tight deadlines and with switching priorities
Proactive and creative in terms of improving ways of working
Team player
Mandarin speaker is an advantage
Audit experience is an advantage
