Job summary

KGiSL in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an experienced System Architect for the General Insurance domain. You will define and govern solution architecture for policy administration systems, lead modernization and integration initiatives, and design scalable, secure enterprise applications.

Collaborate with PMs, BAs, and development teams, provide technical leadership on architecture and deployment strategies, and support regulatory compliance in a dynamic insurance environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years overall IT experience
• At least 5 years in General Insurance systems
• General Insurance domain knowledge: Motor, Fire, Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance
• Malaysian regulations experience: AML, FSA, MFRS17, SST, GST

Responsibilities

• Define and govern solution architecture for General Insurance policy administration systems.
• Lead system enhancement, modernization, and integration initiatives.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, System Analysts, and Development Teams.
• Provide technical leadership on application architecture, integration, and deployment strategies.
• Support business transformation and regulatory compliance initiatives.
