Job description

The General Affairs Manager is responsible for leading and managing all site administration and employee support services within a manufacturing environment. The role ensures efficient operation of canteen services, employee transportation, office and workplace amenities, security operations, and facilities-related programs while maintaining compliance with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards, customer requirements, and company policies. This position plays a critical role in enhancing employee experience, ensuring operational continuity, and supporting a safe, secure, and compliant workplace.

Key responsibilities

Lead the overall administration and facilities operations for the manufacturing site.

Ensure office facilities, employee amenities, meeting rooms, and common areas are maintained in good condition.

Manage outsourced canteen operations to ensure food quality, hygiene, safety, and employee satisfaction.

Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and food safety inspections.

Manage employee shuttle bus services to ensure reliable and efficient transportation for manufacturing employees across all shifts.

Lead site security operations including guard force management, access control, CCTV monitoring, visitor management, and incident investigations.

Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.

Oversee company-managed hostels, rented accommodations, or employee housing facilities to ensure safe, secure, and comfortable living conditions.

Manage contracts and service agreements for canteen, transportation, security, housekeeping, and other administrative vendors.

Prepare and manage annual administration budgets and monitor spending.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 8 years of experience in administration, facilities management, or site services within a manufacturing environment.

Minimum 3 years of management experience leading multiple service functions.

Experience managing canteen, transportation, security, facilities, and outsourced service providers.

Hands-on experience supporting RBA, customer, or social compliance audits.

Familiarity with EHS, ISO management systems, and manufacturing site operations is preferred.
