Job summary

Seagate Technology in Penang, Malaysia is offering a GFIT Intern, Software Development in C# with GenAI. You will join the Global Factory IT group and work on GenAI-enabled SOC development lifecycle within a SAFe environment.

The internship provides mentorship from seasoned engineers, opportunities to prototype AI-assisted solutions, and exposure to manufacturing software, SECS/GEM, and wafer equipment integration as part of real enterprise projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Basic programming in C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Exposure to GenAI, LLMs, or AI-enabled software development.
• Interest in REST APIs, databases, Git.

Responsibilities

• Assist GenAI software development in C#/.NET.
• Develop prototypes and AI-assisted solutions.
• Collaborate with SAFe‑aligned agile team.
• Document engineering processes and learn SOC lifecycle.
