Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Business Development Manager for the furniture sector in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will develop and execute strategic business development initiatives within Malaysia's sofa and furniture manufacturing industry, identify new opportunities, and build a robust sales pipeline to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years in business development or technical sales.
• Experience in B2B,家具行业、foams or textiles is a plus.
• Ability to develop new markets and drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Experience selling technical or engineered materials is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic BD initiatives within Malaysia's sofa and furniture manufacturing industry.
• Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities with sofa manufacturers, OEMs, upholstery companies and other key players.
• Build, manage, and convert a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue growth and market expansion.
• Lead product presentations, technical demonstrations, sampling, and commercial negotiations with customers.
• Coordinate product validation, pilot runs, and implementation activities for fiber solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product Development, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure seamless execution.
• Travel within Malaysia to support customer development and product trials.
