Job summary

The YAYASAN TAIWAN BUDDHIST TZU-CHI Foundation Malaysia is seeking a Fundraiser & Donor Engagement Assistant Manager to oversee daily donation operations, donor and fundraiser services, and lead a small operations team in a fast-paced NGO environment in Kuala Lumpur and Melaka.

This role focuses on maintaining financial controls, processing donations, improving processes, and delivering excellent donor support while aligning with the organization's mission to serve communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree holder.
• At least 5 years of working experience and min. 3 years of experience leading and managing a team.
• Strong understanding of operational processes, financial controls and reconciliation.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, to ensure accurate and timely processing of donations.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls to maintain operational integrity.
• Ensure excellent service delivery for donors and fundraisers.
• Resolve escalated donor and fundraiser inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Gather donor, volunteer, and service feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist to lead and develop the operations team.
• Assist to plan and manage team resources to ensure service operational efficiency.
• Assist to monitor team performance through regular reviews & feedback.

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of donation processing, donor support services, financial operational controls, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
