Job summary

Experian PLC in Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience in full-stack development. You will build Java back-end solutions, RESTful APIs, and scalable data services, while collaborating with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to deliver modern UI, APIs, and database components.

You will work in an Agile environment with deployment to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and use Git/Bitbucket for source control, along with Maven/Jenkins for CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of software engineering experience with full-stack development.
• Experience building Java back-end solutions with RESTful APIs and ORM (Hibernate/JPA).
• Experience in Agile environments and deploying to AWS/Azure/Google Cloud; using Git/Bitbucket; and CI/CD with Maven/Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build full-stack applications/services and modern UI, APIs, and database components.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code and improve quality standards.
• Develop automated tests (unit/integration/e2e) and improve test coverage.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding, testing, debugging, and docs.
• Report to Software Engineering Manager and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support, and Consulting teams.
