Job summary

Danica IT is seeking a software engineer to drive the development and modernization of platforms, supporting self-service solutions and ensuring reliability. You will work across web and mobile apps, using React, React Native and .NET, with focus on scalable, maintainable code and collaboration with IT Architecture.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in full-stack development, strong OO design, and production deployment experience, in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with strong English

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in full-stack software development.
• Back-end development with .NET technologies.
• Front-end with React or React Native.
• Proficient in object-oriented design and container-based deployment.
• Experience deploying production applications.

• Work on strategic initiatives supporting Danica's committed business strategy

Danske Bank provides a comprehensive array of services including banking, mortgage financing, leasing, real estate brokerage, asset management, insurance, and pension solutions.

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our squad at Danica IT. This exciting role involves driving the development and modernisation of our platforms, as well as supporting and maintaining our self-service solutions to ensure they operate smoothly and reliably. The ideal candidate is curious and eager to engage with new technologies and responsibilities but also willing to challenge and improve existing solutions and processes.

Responsibilities

• Work on strategic initiatives supporting Danica's committed business strategy
• Design and develop scalable web and mobile applications using React, React Native and .NET
• Monitor performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability
• Work collaboratively with the IT Architecture team to ensure alignment with the overall IT strategy and goals
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and procedures related to the solutions
• Participate actively in incident and problem management, as well as IT change and release management activities

Technical Requirements (Must Have)

• Minimum 4 years in full-stack software development
• Experience with back-end development using .NET technologies
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks, preferably React OR React Native
• Proficient in object-oriented design, software engineering principles and container-based deployment
• Experience working on applications that have been deployed to production and used by end users

Technical Requirements (Good to Have)

• Proven track of building clean, maintainable, testable solutions
• Curiosity and practical experience with AI tools, demonstrated through their use or experimentation to improve productivity and identify new ways of working

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing complex technical challenges and contributing to architectural decisions
• Open to adapting to changes in technologies, tasks, and acquiring new skills
