Job summary

Ariston Services, based in Kuala Lumpur, seeks a hands-on technical leader to own end-to-end delivery of complex B2B commerce and customer portal transformations from design through build, migration, cutover, and hypercare.

You will drive architecture, governance, and lifecycle ownership across Front-End, BFF, Database, and DevOps teams while embedding observability and operational readiness into delivery.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in designing, building, and operating highly available, scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with B2B commerce capabilities and portal transformations.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD on AWS/Azure.
• Embed observability and lifecycle ownership into engineering delivery.
• Experience delivering solutions across custom build, configured platforms, and third‑party integrations at scale.
• Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools and practices.
• Proficiency in ReactJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, and SpringBoot.

Job description

They lead end-to-end technical delivery, ensure engineering integrity at scale, and actively manage delivery and technical risk while guiding teams through complex build challenges, operating as a hands-on technical leader with strong customer and stakeholder influence.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery & Transformation: Owns end-to-end technical delivery of complex B2B commerce and customer portal transformation programmes, from detailed design through build, migration, cutover, and hypercare. Manages delivery risk, sequencing, and dependencies across squads.
• Data: Engineers data-intensive solutions and integration flows across enterprise systems. Builds secure, governed, and interoperable data pipelines with strong quality, lineage, and observability.

Mandatory Skills

• Deep expertise in designing, building, and operating highly available, scalable, and resilient distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of B2B-specific commerce capabilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and modern CI/CD pipelines on AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to embed observability, operational readiness, and lifecycle ownership into engineering delivery.
• Experience delivering solutions spanning custom build, configured platforms, and third-party integrations at scale.
• Extensive knowledge of application performance monitoring and management tools.
• ReactJS, Node JS, GraphQL, SpringBoot.

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, security, and operations in large-scale global environments.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
• 6+ years of experience in B2B order-to-cash customer portal transformations.
• Detailed technical solution designs aligned to Enterprise and Solution Architecture.
• Front-end, back-end, database, and integration solution delivery.
• API, data model, and application component specifications.
• CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and environment management.
• Technical governance, code quality, and architecture compliance artefacts.
• SIT, UAT, performance, and production release support.
• Operational readiness deliverables including monitoring, runbooks, support documentation, and handover.
• Technical leadership and coordination of Front-End, BFF, Database, and DevOps engineering teams.
