Job summary

Appnovation Technologies in Malaysia seeks a Full Stack Developer to build modern web apps that blend real-time UI with AI capabilities. You’ll design features across the stack using React (Next.js or Vue.js), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS.

You’ll integrate AI/LLM APIs, work with vector databases, and deploy backends with Docker and CI/CD on cloud platforms, delivering practical, shipping‑oriented solutions in a collaborative, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in modern React frameworks with TypeScript.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into production web apps.
• Hands-on knowledge of vector databases and RAG concepts.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud hosting.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are building a modern, high-performance web product that seamlessly integrates cutting‑edge Artificial Intelligence to deliver intelligent, real‑time user experiences. We value practical, shipping‑oriented engineers over fancy titles—people who love building clean, responsive front ends backed by fast, scalable backends.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in modern web development and hands‑on experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI workflows into production web applications.

What We Are Looking For

• Build End-to-End Applications: Design, build, and maintain features across the entire stack, from reactive user interfaces to scalable backend microservices.
• Integrate AI Capabilities: Connect web backends with AI models, external APIs, vector databases, and real‑time streaming services to power intelligent product features.
• Craft Real-Time Interfaces: Build rich, responsive UI components that support real‑time data streaming (Server‑Sent Events / WebSockets) and low‑latency interactions.
• Optimize Performance & Reliability: Manage database schemas, caching, state management, and backend logic to keep the application fast, secure, and resilient.
• Collaborate & Deploy: Write clean, modular code with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure deployments.

Who You Are

• Strong proficiency in modern React frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue.js) using TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS/Tailwind.
• Solid experience with Node.js/TypeScript (Next.js API routes, Express, Fastify) or Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) or Java (Spring Boot)
• Practical experience integrating AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open‑source models, or hosting services) into web applications.
• Hands‑on knowledge of tools and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Vercel AI SDK.
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, pgvector) and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
• Basic DevOps/Cloud knowledge: Docker, CI/CD, and hosting on platforms like Vercel, AWS, or GCP.
• Personal side projects or open‑source contributions showcasing full‑stack web applications with integrated AI/LLM features.
• Experience with web accessibility, UI design systems, or client‑side performance optimization.
• Exposure to AI evaluation tools or LLM observability frameworks (e.g., Langfuse, Helicone).
