Job summary

The Flexi Group in Malaysia seeks a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our in-house tech team. You’ll work on our core CRM and member platforms, tackling real-world problems that affect thousands of members across Asia Pacific, with mentorship from the Team Manager.

You’ll develop in ReactJS, React Native, and PHP, aiming to grow into backend work. This collaborative, hands-on role values clean code, problem-solving, and a willingness to ship features that users rely on daily.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional software development experience.
• Frontend-focused candidates with strong interest to learn backend development.
• Experience designing interactive applications with a strong focus on user experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, PHP, and frameworks ReactJS/React Native.
• Proficiency in developing frontend apps using React Native and React JS.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL/MariaDB is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of full stack development and SDLC.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS) is a plus.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork within a small team.

Responsibilities

• Support the full SDLC from requirements to deployment with your team manager.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation for system requirements and solutions.
• Write clean, efficient code in JavaScript and PHP using ReactJS/React Native.
• Integrate components into a functional software system and ensure performance.
• Develop and implement software verification plans and QA procedures.
• Document functionality, including technical specs and user guides.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing systems.
• Follow industry best practices and ensure compliance with plans and regulations.
• Deploy programs to production, monitor performance, and incorporate feedback.
