Job summary

Inter Island Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering scalable digital products for global users in Malaysia. The role involves building backend services with Golang, front-end work with Vue.js, and contributing to cloud-native architectures.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA in an Agile setup, participate in CI/CD and continuous improvement, and help ensure robust, high-quality software across the stack.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience developing enterprise or customer-facing applications.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and web applications.
• Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Golang.
• Develop responsive front-end applications using Vue.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and deployment automation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
