Job summary

Setel in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Lead, Commercial Strategy (Fuel) to drive commercial strategy, financial modelling, and investment evaluation for the fuel business. You will align growth initiatives with operational realities and long-term objectives, guiding partners and internal teams.

The role supports senior leadership with decision-ready analyses, owning P&L drivers, contract terms, and scenario planning to sustain revenue growth in a complex merchant network.

Qualifications

• Experience in business case development and investment appraisal.
• Pricing strategy, campaign economics and loyalty programme design.
• Experience supporting senior leadership and Board-level decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial strategy, modelling, and business case governance for Setel's fuel business.
• Lead the development and governance of commercial models for fuel P&L and margins.
• Evaluate revenue uplift opportunities, station partnerships and pricing strategies.
• Own commercial terms and deal structuring for fuel partnerships.
• Lead scenario planning and provide evidence-based strategic recommendations.
• Produce investment appraisals and business cases for Board approval.
• Collaborate with Operations, Account Management, and Product to ground revenue plans in reality.
