Job summary

Our client, a leading manufacturer of public transportation vehicles in Malaysia, is seeking a Frontend Software Developer to design and build intuitive web applications that support engineering, manufacturing, and operations.

You will translate business requirements into modern digital solutions, collaborate with design engineers and production teams, and ensure UI/UX excellence, performance, accessibility, and security across dashboards and internal systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years of frontend or software development experience.
• Experience designing and developing web-based applications.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and UI/UX principles.
• Familiarity with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js and Agile methodologies.
• Familiar with Figma for UI design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and dashboards.
• Create modern UI/UX for internal and customer-facing systems.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers, Production Teams, and stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into scalable frontend solutions.
• Work with backend teams to integrate APIs.
• Ensure performance, usability, accessibility, and security.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Support digitalization projects across the organization.
• Communicate with the UK Engineering Manager and global teams.

Job Requirements

• Experience working with UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Strong proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as: React.js, Angular, Vue.js
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Understanding of UI/UX design tools such as Figma.
