Provido Global in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Front-End Engineer (Angular) to develop high-performance, accessible web experiences using Angular v17+ and TypeScript. You will build reusable components, integrate with REST APIs, and collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers in an Agile environment.

Hybrid work in KL with a focus on code quality, scalable architecture, and performance optimization. AI-assisted development tools experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of frontend development experience.
• Proficiency in Angular v17+ and TypeScript, with experience designing and developing scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience with modern state management (RxJS, Angular Signals) and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Ability to leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Why We Need You

We are looking for a talented and experienced English-speaking Front-End Developer to join our Kuala Lumpur team in a hybrid work arrangement. You will develop high-performance, visually polished, and accessible web experiences. You will contribute to the delivery of scalable digital solutions while adhering to coding standards and best practices. You will build and maintain reusable components, implement complex features, support code quality initiatives, and collaborate with senior developers to continuously improve the application’s architecture, performance, and user experience. You will also leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or Claude to enhance productivity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Front-End Development - Develop and maintain responsive front-end solutions using Angular (v17+) and TypeScript, following modern Angular architecture, coding standards, and development best practices. 3+ years of professional years of hands-on Angular experience.
• Component Libraries - Develop and maintain reusable component libraries and contribute to the front-end design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across products.
• API Integration - Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend services; handle real-time data via WebSockets or Server-Sent Events.
• Code Quality - Write clean, testable code; conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards using ESLint, Prettier, and automated testing frameworks.
• Performance Optimization - Optimize for lazy loading, code splitting, and fast load times to deliver a smooth user experience at scale.
• Collaboration - Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, QAs, and product managers in an Agile environment to deliver features end-to-end.

What You Bring to the Team

• 3+ years of frontend development experience
• Proficiency in Angular (v17+) and TypeScript, with proven experience designing and developing scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience with React or Vue.js is beneficial but Angular is the primary focus of this role.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate development, improve code quality, generate tests and documentation, and enhance engineering productivity while maintaining strong code review and validation practices.
• Knowledge of browser rendering, performance optimisation, and Core Web Vitals Knowledge of modern angular state management (RxJS, Angular Signals), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and modern CSS architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SCSS/Sass, Angular Material and Tailwind Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern frontend build tooling (Vite, Webpack, npm, esbuild)
• Strong problem-solving skills and strong communication with cross-functional teams
• Professional proficiency in English is required.

Preferred Skills

• Professional proficiency in Mandarin is preferred
• Knowledge in automated testing (playwright, jest) is preferred
• Experience in fintech, or high-traffic consumer products
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and module federation
• Knowledge of SSR/SSG frameworks such as Next.js or Nuxt.js
