Job summary

Grand Orient Hotel, part of Vision Hospitality Management, is seeking a courteous Guest Service Officer in Penang. You will greet guests, check in/out, manage reservations, and provide information on services and local attractions to create a welcoming first impression.

You will coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, verify guest details in the PMS, handle billing, assist with special requests, and ensure a smooth, secure stay aligned with hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering excellent guest service at a front desk or call center.
• Proficiency with front desk software and room reservation systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
• Check guests in and out, entering information accurately in the system.
• Issue room keys and explain hotel services and amenities.
• Handle billing and payments (cash, cards, charges).
• Assist guests with reservations via phone, email, or in person.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance to ensure room readiness.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide local information and recommendations.
• Address complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Verify guest identities and follow security procedures during check-in/out.
• Maintain PMS records and update guest profiles for future stays.
