Job summary

Sandisk in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a skilled engineer to join our NAND memory reliability team. You will execute reliability qualifications, design test sequences, and perform root-cause analyses on failures.

This role requires a Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related field, strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, and excellent English communication. You will collaborate with R&D and other engineering groups to push 4IR-quality memory solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field.
• Experience with NAND Flash memory reliability is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for execution and analysis of NAND memory reliability qual and perform Failure Analysis.
• Designing and developing reliability sequences for a node and execute tests, followed by root-cause failure analysis.
• Support R&D, DPPM, test documentation, reading design manuals/data sheets, bench equipment use, and collaboration with other engineering groups.

Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible on execution and analysis of NAND memory reliability qual and perform Failure Analysis.
• Designing and developing reliability sequences for given technology node in addition to performing actual reliability test execution followed by Failure Analysis to root cause the issues reported.
• Some of the other areas that this position will include will be: R&D support, DPPM improvement, test documentation, comprehension of design manuals and data sheets, using various bench equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeter), and interacting with other engineering groups.
  
  

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Master in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering or related Engineering field.

• Must have good troubleshooting and debug skills.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• NAND FLASH memory test background is helpful. Ability to understand failure analysis.
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Good teamwork, willing to learn, logical thinking & ability to multitask.
