myNEWS Holding Berhad is seeking a Bakery Category Manager to strategize and drive 360-degree initiatives across product and promotions. You will develop store-level strategies, manage slots and assortments, and collaborate with marketing and suppliers to grow revenue and profitability.

The role requires 4–5 years in bakery category management, strong promotional planning ability, and a proactive, independent work style within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of working experience in bakery category management.
• Creative mind to innovate and drive new products and platforms.
• Promotion planning capability and ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Strategize the 360 implementation to achieve revenue and gross profit targets.
• Drive innovative strategies aligned with MARU brand positioning.
• Develop and activate 6 Ps: Product, Promotion, Place, Price, People, Positioning.
• Collaborate with Fresh Food and Brand Marketing to boost transaction counts and ticket size.
• Build relationships with suppliers and secure favorable terms.
• Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with superiors.
• Visit stores for market research, monitor trends, and analyze competitors.
• Support brand expansion plans and other tasks as assigned.
