A prominent logistics service provider is seeking a Freight Forwarding Administrator to manage export shipments and liaise with clients and service providers. This is a well established and industry leader in international multi-modal logistics forwarding industry. The company provides ocean freight logistics and warehousing services for their clients. Currently they have a few openings within their import and export operations sectors at their business main office at Kelana Jaya.
In this connection, Chrisjac Recruitment is working in collaboration with the management of the company to seek passionate freight logistics professionals to join their dedicated logistics team.
The Freight Forwarding Administrator functions as an interface between international and domestics service providers and within broader business. As the Freight Logistics Administrator, you will be working within a close and supporting team environment within the Export department. Overall, you will be providing your assigned clients base guiding them through a seamless shipping and logistics process and be the link between both internal departments and external service providers.
The role will include handling export shipments for all LCL clientele, from freight bookings, allocations to final delivery and cargo received to clients overseas.
Duties will entail and involve the following role process:
The ideal candidates would have a proven track record of some 1-3 years of freight operations experience in handling import/exports sector within forwarding or with co-loader. In this connection, candidate with strong understanding of international shipping and also domestic transport will be highly advantageous to fill this role.
The successful candidates for this role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and accurate comprehend information is imperative as you will liaise with a variety of stakeholders to collectively produce the desired outcome for the business clients.
