Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a logistics professional to manage customer requirements, coordinate multimodal shipments, and optimize operations for on-time deliveries in Malaysia. You will prepare quotations, maintain data records, and drive client satisfaction by proactive engagement with key accounts.

The role demands a Bachelor’s in logistics or related field with 2+ years’ experience, and relevant certifications. Proficiency in Cargo Wise and cross-cultural communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• 2+ years in logistics management, multimodal transportation, and customer-facing roles.
• Certifications: CSCMP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) preferably.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers, addressing requirements and resolving shipment issues.
• Proactively engage with key accounts to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Plan, negotiate and implement multimodal transportation solutions with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Prepare quotations in Cargo Wise and submit accurate, competitive daily rates.
• Maintain daily data records of RFQ, sea freight, airfreight, and transport details.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet client KPIs and SLAs.
• Monitor shipment progress and address delays.
• Oversee execution performance and resolve operational issues.
• Minimize disruptions to cargo movements and mitigate risks.
• Join client visits to strengthen relationships and gather feedback.
