Job summary

MR DIY International is seeking an experienced Freelance Data Science Consultant to coach junior data scientists on AI, ML, and analytics best practices. The role includes reviewing projects, mentoring progress, and ensuring timely go-live of ML initiatives.

Duration: 3 months contract with 20 hours per month. The consultant will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams, and document methodologies and findings for presentation to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data science, analytics, machine learning, or a related consulting role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Python visualization libraries.
• Ability to independently manage projects from problem definition through delivery.
• Experience presenting technical findings and business recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.
