Job summary

MR DIY International is seeking an experienced Freelance Data Science Consultant to coach junior data scientists in AI, ML, and analytics best practices. You will review projects, provide mentorship, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery of machine learning initiatives.

Key duties include coaching on predictive modeling, data visualization, and model deployment, partnering with engineering, product, and business teams, and documenting methodologies for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in data science, analytics, ML, or related consulting role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Python visualization libraries.
• Ability to independently manage projects from problem definition through delivery.
• Experience presenting technical findings and business recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Data Science Consultant to provide consultation to our junior data scientists. The consultant will provide coaching and mentorship on data science, AI and machine learning best practices. This includes reviewing projects and tasks, and monitoring progress towards ensuring on-time launching of our machine learning project(s).

Duration: 3 months contract - 20 hours per month

Key Responsibilities
