Qualifications

• Open to internships with availability to commit to regular working hours for the duration of the placement.
• Basic understanding of payments, chargebacks, or online fraud concepts.
• Familiarity with Excel for data filtering and basic analysis; familiarity with SQL or analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity when handling sensitive customer information.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work cooperatively in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming dispute cases, collect evidence from transaction records and user reports, then recommend outcomes aligned with policy.
• Write clear, concise case notes and prepare documentation for chargeback responses and internal reviews.
• Monitor alerts and transaction patterns to identify suspicious activity and elevate high-risk cases to senior reviewers.
• Help refine dispute workflows and suggest practical improvements to reduce handling time; collaborate with support, payments and product teams to close cases efficiently.
