Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a highly analytical FP&A leader to drive financial planning, performance management, and portfolio analysis across a diverse group of businesses. You will deliver insightful management reports, support strategic decisions, and partner with stakeholders to improve profitability and cash flow.

This role requires strong Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling skills, plus experience with budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
CFA qualification or progress towards CFA is an added advantage.
4-6 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
Exposure to consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy is desirable.
Experience in lean/start-up environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning activities.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis.
Prepare monthly/quarterly performance reviews for senior management and Board.
Analyze profitability, efficiency, and cash flow across portfolio companies.
Support investor requests and group-level reporting.
Coordinate annual portfolio valuation exercises and impairment assessments.
Develop and manage financial databases from multiple sources.
Enhance reporting with unit economics, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and drive performance.
Assist in corporate finance initiatives and ad hoc projects.
