The FP&A Lead is accountable for ensuring the effective delivery of reporting and accounting activities that support internal and external reporting requirements, business appraisal processes and financial decision-making. The role leads complex reporting operations, drives process improvements and ensures the quality, integrity and timeliness of financial reporting outputs. The role partners closely with Reporting & Accounting Managers, Finance Leadership, Group Reporting and other finance stakeholders to strengthen reporting effectiveness, resolve reporting issues and improve end-to-end reporting processes. The role is expected to lead transformation initiatives, develop finance talent and embed best practices that enhance reporting quality, operational performance and financial stewardship.
Lead the delivery of reporting and accounting activities with a strong focus on quality, integrity and accountability. Create an environment that promotes collaboration, capability development and operational excellence. Drive reporting improvements, innovation and simplification across finance processes. Build strong partnerships across Reporting & Accounting, Group Reporting and wider Finance teams. Role model financial stewardship, governance and control discipline. Support and develop talent through coaching, feedback and growth opportunities. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning and adaptability.
Significant experience in financial reporting, accounting, controllership, finance operations or related finance disciplines. Proven leadership experience managing teams, reporting activities or complex finance delivery environments. Strong understanding of accounting standards, reporting requirements, governance frameworks and financial controls. Demonstrated success leading reporting improvements, transformation initiatives or operational excellence programmes. Experience partnering with senior finance stakeholders and influencing organisational outcomes. Professional accounting qualification or relevant finance, accounting or business degree preferred.
Timely, accurate and compliant delivery of reporting and accounting activities. Improved reporting quality, efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction. Successful delivery of reporting transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong adherence to governance, assurance and financial control requirements. Increased capability and engagement across reporting and accounting teams. Effective resolution of reporting issues and improved reporting process performance. Measurable business value delivered through improved reporting effectiveness and decision support.
