Job summary

Virtuos Games is seeking a Forward-Deployed Software Engineer to advance AI-powered developer tools for our engineering teams. You will convert emerging AI tech into reliable enterprise solutions, working with platform teams to ensure security, reliability, and usability.

You will evaluate open-source AI coding assistants, implement SonarQube checks, Harden tools, and build internal AI agents for our portal, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and enterprise authentication standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting applications or developer tools.
• Hands-on integrating LLMs, AI coding assistants, or agent frameworks with prompts and workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management using industry tools.
• API integration and enterprise authentication with SSO and OAuth 2.0/OIDC.
• Logging, monitoring, and observability, plus ability to troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and integrate AI-powered developer tools for engineering teams.
• Develop AI agents and workflows within the internal AI portal.
• Harden open-source tools and build in-house solutions meeting security and SSO needs.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated checks and deployment.
• Deliver versioned binaries and ensure reliable developer installation via launcher.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, DevOps, and platform teams on policies and usability.
• Provide documentation, runbooks, and developer FAQs for operations.
