Job summary

Allwin Textile Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operator in Penang to handle heavy machinery and general warehouse labor. You will load/unload trucks, put away inventory, and prepare outbound orders while maintaining a safe, organized facility.

Responsibilities include safe forklift operation, high-bay put-away, order picking using sheets or RF scanners, staging, and ensuring inventory accuracy. You will also support line feeding and WIP movements to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound freight from trailers or shipping containers and load outbound trucks securely.
• Pick raw materials for production lines or pull finished goods for customer orders using pick sheets or RF scanners.
• Move WIP between stations and ensure timely delivery to lines.
• Clear finished goods from production lines and transport to warehouse for packing and storage.
• Remove manufacturing scrap, empty pallets and waste materials to keep floors safe.
• Retrieve empty component bins from assembly lines and return to staging area for cleaning or replenishment.

Job description

The Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operator handles both heavy machinery operation and general warehouse labor. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, putting away inventory in designated area, and preparing outbound orders while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean facility.

Safe Maneuvering: Operate sit-down counterbalanced forklifts, reach trucks, or electric pallet jacks safely in aisles and warehouse.

Loading & Unloading: Unload inbound freight from trailers or shipping containers and load outbound trucks securely.

High-Bay Put Away: Lift and stack palletized or non-palletized goods onto high-level storage without damaging products or infrastructure.

Pre-Shift Inspection: Perform daily safety checklists on forklifts (checking brakes, fluids, battery, and hydraulics) and report defects.

2. Warehouse Material Handling

Order Picking: Pick raw materials for production lines or pull finished goods for customer orders using pick sheets or RF scanners.

Staging: Move materials to designated staging zones for quality inspection, production, or immediate shipping.

Inventory Accuracy: Verify product labels, batch numbers, and quantities during movement to prevent inventory errors.

Housekeeping: Keep aisles clear of debris, wrap pallets securely with stretch film, and dispose of trash/cardboard.

3. Production Operations Support (Movers)

Line Feeding: Deliver raw materials, semi-finished goods, and packaging directly to specific production lines just-in-time to prevent manufacturing downtime.

WIP Movement: Move Work-In-Progress (WIP) batches between different manufacturing stations, assembly zones, or waiting areas.

Finished Goods Clearance: Clear completed products from the end of production lines instantly and transport them to the warehouse for final packing and storage.

Scrap & Waste Removal: Collect and remove manufacturing scrap, empty pallets, and waste materials from the production floor to keep work areas safe and clear.

Empty Bin Management: Retrieve empty component bins or totes from assembly lines and return them to the warehouse staging area for cleaning or replenishment.
