Job summary

S-RM Malaysia is seeking an Associate (Forensics Lead) in Incident Response to lead complex forensic investigations and guide incident response across APAC. You will deploy expertise across the full lifecycle of security incidents, from triage to remediation, working with clients in demanding environments.

Role emphasizes Windows, Linux, and MacOS forensics, host- and network-based investigations, and on-call coverage. Flexible, hybrid work in a dynamic cyber security team.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting forensic investigations, especially on Windows systems.
• Strong understanding of incident response workflows and containment/restoration.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Support technical incident response from first contact through closure, serving as a technical resource.
• Oversee host- and network-based investigations including evidence collection and analyses.
• Develop domain expertise and share knowledge with the wider team.
• Participate in 24x7x365 on-call coverage and incident response delivery across APAC.
