Job summary

Bigpluschem is seeking a Product Innovation & Development Executive who thrives on turning ideas into market-ready products. You will work directly with the CEO, suppliers and cross-functional teams to bring new offerings from concept through launch.

You will identify opportunities via market research, manage end-to-end product development, coordinate costings, packaging, pilot runs, and regulatory compliance while maintaining documentation and ensuring timely launches nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years in FMCG product development/innovation/R&D or related roles.
• Experience with OEM or contract manufacturers preferred.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Good commercial awareness with costing and profitability analysis.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify new product opportunities through market research and consumer insights.
• Research market trends, competitor products and emerging innovations.
• Coordinate end-to-end product development from concept to market.
• Prepare product briefs, manage sampling, revisions and pilot production.
• Source and evaluate manufacturers based on quality, cost and lead time.
• Develop product costing and evaluate commercial feasibility.
• Coordinate packaging development, artwork and product claims.
• Arrange product testing, benchmarking and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain product documentation including specifications, SDS and COA.
• Manage product launch timelines with Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Sales and Finance.
