Job summary

Johor Bahru Flour Mill Sdn Bhd is seeking a technician/engineer to oversee flour production, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and maintaining optimal flour extraction rates. The role includes supervising mill staff, enforcing SOPs, and supporting continuous improvement across conditioning and milling processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Fresh graduate or up to 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mill performance and maintain optimal mill balance.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the senior miller and mill technician.
• Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the plant.
• Review and verify production documentation and checklists for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and implement process efficiency improvements within the mill.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve plant operation stoppages and equipment breakdowns.
• Monitor and assess equipment condition to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures.
• Ensure production staff adheres to SOPs and safety work procedures.
• Source suppliers and obtain quotations for necessary materials and services.
• Contributes to production order management and planning.
• Ensures production complies with all applicable food safety standards.
• Develop and implement plans for wheat conditioning and flour milling processes.

Education
